They are hiring a Strategic Partner Manager to step into a thriving, high-demand telecom solutions networks. This person will act as the channel sales team lead for a full suite of enterprise & SMB UCaaS and telecom solutions.

The Strategic Partner Manager will have the opportunity to build relationships and market the company’s large variety of Unified Communications solutions. This person will play a key role in expanding the company’s connectivity market share nationwide.

Focus:

  • Collaborate with channel sales team to develop sales territory and expand market share.
  • Close deals for advanced enterprise unified communications solutions, including IP networks, broadband, firewalls, disaster recovery, VoIP, hosted PBX, and more.
  • Accompany sales managers to high-profile meetings with clients and channel partners.
  • Present budget and forecasting reports to senior leadership.
  • Close deals for advanced enterprise unified communications solutions, including IP networks, broadband, firewalls, disaster recovery, VoIP, hosted PBX, and more.
  • Design and execute indirect sales strategy for small, midsize, and enterprise partners.
  • Responsible for customer retention program and customer service strategy.
  • Foster a culture of strong post-sales relationship-building and customer care.
  • Identify customer business goals and assist business development team in creating custom RFQs/RFPs in response to enterprise customers’ networking needs.
  • Present budget and forecasting reports to senior leadership.
  • Deliver technical presentations at high-profile meetings with clients and channel partners, as well as at conferences and trade shows.

 

Skills:

  • 5+ years of sales/channel leadership experience in the wireless/telecom industry, with a focus on unified communications software and solutions at the enterprise level.
  • Experience working directly with VARs, MSPs (managed service providers), or Master Agents.
    Strong relationship-building skills and a heavy focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Proficiency with SalesForce or another CRM.
  • Understanding of unified communications solutions, including:
    • Audio/video/conferencing tools
    • VoIP
    • Hosted PBX and SIP trunking
    • Broadband internet
    • SD-WAN, LAN
    • VPNs
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and technical presentation skills.
  • Comfortable working with high-level municipality and enterprise decision-makers.
  • Travel is approximately 60%; expense account provided.
