Sr. Telecom Billing Analyst

They are hiring a Sr. Telecom Billing Analyst to support and improve their billing program.
The Sr. Telecom Billing Analyst will administer the telecommunications billing system for their award-winning inbound/outbound call solutions. They will manage communication between front-end customer bills and back-end invoice generation to ensure accuracy and correct rates.

- Set up, configure, and administer telecom billing for top clients worldwide. Analyze, improve, and optimize existing billing system to ensure accurate customer billing.
- Conduct detailed inquiries into billing to determine billing error rate, invoice accuracy, correct rates, and correct scheduling.
- Analyze client billing to resolve tickets related to scheduling, system errors, technical issues, and other high-level inquiries.
- Coordinate with engineering team for planned network outages, software roll-outs, and upgrades.
- Continuously improve policies and procedures according to industry best practices. Report regularly to senior management on areas for improvement.
- Ensure confidentiality and data security.
- 5+ years of advanced experience in administering and managing telecom billing systems.
- Strong experience with analytical tools:
- Writing and interpreting complex queries in SQL
- Pivot tables, V-lookups, and analysis using Excel
- Programming experience is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree a related discipline.
- Some familiarity with unified communications, hosted PBX, VoIP, SIP, call centers, and endpoint devices is helpful.
- Excellent skills in communication, documentation, research, and analysis.
